An American storywriter; born in Rochester Springs, Boyle County, Ky., in 1828. Together with her husband she edited the Christian Repository and the Home Circle for many years. Among her published works are: "Grace Truman" (1857); "Mary Bunyan" (1859); "Morgan and his Men" (1864); and "Ernest Quest" (1887).
