An American journalist and playwright; born in Cambridge, Mass., in 18-. For many years dramatic critic on various Boston papers, she also contributed widely to magazines and periodicals. Author of: "Po' White Trash and Other One-Act Dramas" (1899); "In Office Hours and Other Vaudeville Sketches" (1899); also, "Fort Frayne" (with Gen. Charles King), and adapter of "Monsieur Beaucaire", with the author.
